1J79 is a commonly used iron-nickel-based soft magnetic alloy, also known as permalloy, which exhibits high magnetic permeability. By reasonably balancing the proportions of nickel and iron, the alloy achieves sufficient magnetic permeability and saturation magnetic induction. Additionally, elements such as molybdenum and copper are added to increase the material's electrical resistivity, thereby reducing eddy current losses when used in cores. The added elements also enhance the material's hardness, which is particularly beneficial for applications involving wear, such as magnetic heads.
The production process of 1J79 alloy is quite complex. Factors such as the rolling process of the sheet, annealing temperature, annealing time, and cooling rate after annealing all have a significant impact on the material's final magnetic properties.

What is and How to Calculate the Coefficient of Linear Expansion with Formula?
The average coefficient of linear expansion describes the extent to which a material's length changes with temperature variation. It is defined as the change in length per unit length per unit temperature change. The formula is as follows:
In practical applications, the average coefficient of linear expansion of a material is usually measured experimentally. Different materials have different coefficients of linear expansion, which significantly impacts engineering design, manufacturing, and material selection.
Applications of DLX ALLOY Iron-Nickel 1J79 Alloy
1J79 soft magnetic alloy is primarily used in switch mode power supply transformers, precision current transformers, leakage current transformers, magnetic shielding, magnetic yokes, and high-sensitivity small power transformers used in weak magnetic fields. It is also used in zero-sequence power current transformers and small power magnetic amplifiers for high-frequency power supplies.
Additionally, 1J79 is suitable for use in weak magnetic fields, mainly for components transmitting and converting weak signals in precision instruments, detecting leakage current in circuits, and shielding weak magnetic fields, such as in shielding covers.
