3J40 is a Ni-Cr-Al alloy with a chromium content of 40% and excellent corrosion resistance. 3J40 is a precipitation-strengthened nickel-based alloy.
It has good plasticity in the solid solution state and is easy to process. After high strain rate cold processing and aging treatment, it obtains high mechanical properties and elastic properties.
3J40 alloy can also be strengthened by aging after solid solution. The alloys have high hardness, strength, elastic limit, energy storage ratio, fatigue strength, small elastic hysteresis and aftereffect, non-magnetic, good wear resistance, shock resistance, and excellent corrosion resistance.
